The Singapore Green Labelling Scheme (SGLS) is Singapore's foremost environmental standard, certifying products across 9 major categories. Administered by the Singapore Environment Council since 1999, it is independently verified under ISO 14024 — the international standard for Type 1 Ecolabels.
With the exception of food, beverages and pharmaceuticals, SGLS is applied to products which have passed stringent standards of environmental processes and procedures. Products bearing the Green Label gain a competitive advantage in local and regional procurement.
